On 09/02/2026 at approximately 07:54 PM Deputies responded to the 200 Block of Dellwood Ave in unincorporated Lockport in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival Deputies located two victims in the driveway of a residence, A 31-year-old female and an adult male. The Deputies provided medical care until the paramedics arrived. The victims were then transported to a local hospital by paramedics.

The female victim and mother of four was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The male victim is expected to recover.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in helping identify the suspect(s) in the homicide investigation of 34-year-old Branden B. Pierce.

On 03/09/2025 Will County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Pico Ct. in unincorporated Joliet, IL, in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies determined a residence was struck multiple times with gunfire. The victim was located inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies rendered medical aid until East Joliet Fire Department arrived on scene. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
