Romeoville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the murder investigation of Osama Ibrahim aka (LME SAMO)

Romeoville Police are investigating the murder of Osama Ibrahim aka (LME SAMO), a 19-year-old male from Romeoville.

The investigation began on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 6:52 pm when Police were called to the 100 block of Highpoint Drive regarding an individual that was shot and later pronounced deceased. The incident occurred in an outdoor area near an apartment complex.

Osama is known to frequent the Englewood/Gresham (79th Street) area of Chicago, Calumet City, and Gary, IN.

Romeoville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in this investigation.

Will County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in helping to identify suspects in double homicide

On 09/01/2020, at approximately 8:43 PM, Deputies with the Will County Sheriff’s Office were dis-patched to the Ingalls Park Food and Liquor (1822 E. Washington Street in Joliet), for a shots fired complaint. Information relayed to deputies indicated that there was a subject inside of the store with a possible gunshot wound to the back.

Responding deputies of the Will County Sheriff’s Office located Zachary Stohr, age 29, on the floor of the business. Zachary Stohr was transported to a local area hospital by members of the East Joliet Fire Department, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Responding deputies also located a second victim, Xavier Mendoza, age 20 inside of a vehicle that was parked in a lot next to the business. The victim appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head, and showed no signs life. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to begin the investigation. Autopsies for both victims are scheduled for later today at the Will County Coroner’s Office. This investigation is in the early stages, and more information will be forthcoming when appropriate.

JPD seeking information of the identity of a vehicle and/or driver involved in a hit and run on June 6, 2020

On June 6th, 2020 at approximately 9:56 pm, John Goodwin was crossing the 200 block of S. Larkin from east-to-west, and was struck by an unknown vehicle travelling southbound. Mr. Goodwin succumbed to his injuries, and the vehicle was never located. Evidence on scene suggests the suspect vehicle is possibly a 2013-2017 blue Honda Accord, with some passenger side damage, specifically the passenger mirror.

JPD is seeking information on a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on August 16, 2020

“The Joliet Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on August 16, 2020 at approximately 10:15 PM at Chicago St. and I-80. JPD is looking for any information on a White 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon with damage in the middle of the passenger side of the vehicle. This vehicle turned in front of a motorcycle driven by Henry Young and fled the scene eastbound on I-80 from Chicago St.”

The Crest Hill Police Department is looking for information regarding the whereabouts and involvement of Travion D. Terrell (DOB 06-08-00) in connection to the shooting death of a 16 year old male. The incident happened on 07-13-20 at approximately 1800 hours, at 1715 Arbor Lane in Crest Hill, Illinois.

Joliet Police Detectives are currently looking for assistance from the public

On 02/17/2020 at approximately 12:40am, Officers responded to the 1300 block of Kelly Avenue reference to a suspicious vehicle where officers located a gunshot victim.

If anyone or any business has surveillance videos or information of a black 4-door vehicle or subjects on foot between 11:45pm on 02/16/2020 through 01:00am on 02/17/2020.

The area of focus is from Ingalls Avenue to Theodore Street and from Broadway Avenue to Plainfield Road.
