The two above pictured were involved in a theft of a purse at St. Joes Medical Center on 12/09/19. The victims debit cards were later used at a local gas station.

Crest Hill police are seeking information on a hit and run accident involving a bicyclist with significant injuries

Crest Hill police are seeking information on a hit and run accident involving a bicyclist with significant injuries. This accident occurred in the area of the 2400 block of Plainfield Rd on 12/9/19 at approximately 3:50 a.m. There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Joliet Police Detectives are seeking information on the homicide of Shaianne Williams. This homicide occurred in the Hill area of Joliet during the early morning hours of October 17th.

The University Park Police Department are seeking information in the homicide of Demetrius Ferguson

Responded to a complaint of shots fired at 521 University Parkway shortly after 10pm on 06/18/19. A male, Demetrius Ferguson was transported to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields where he was later pronounced dead from apparent gunshot wound. A second male victim, was treated and is in stable condition.

There is no known immediate threat to the community based on the preliminary information obtained. Further information regarding the incident may be provided as the investigation develops. The Department appreciates the many tips and cooperation that have been received from the public.
